
Kitchen: 4 ½ minutes daily
- After doing the dishes, always wipe down the sink (½ min)
- Wipe down the cooker top (1 min)
- Disinfect the counter tops (1½ mins)
- Sweep the floor (1½ mins)
Bathroom: 5 minutes daily
- After showering, spray the shower glass with a cleaner and allow to soak (½ min)
- Wipe the mirror, sink and taps with a moistened cloth (½ min)
- Wipe around the bath and edges with the same cloth and rinse (1½ mins)
- Wipe the toilet seat and around the rim with disinfectant moistened kitchen roll and flush away (½ min)
- Squirt toilet cleaner around the toilet rim (½ min)
- Wipe and rinse down the shower glass (½ min)
- Wipe up excess moisture from the floor with a used towel (1 min)
Bedroom: 8 minutes daily
- As soon as you get up, make your bed and plump your pillows (1½ mins)
- Neaten the bed side tables (½ min)
- In the evening, fold, hang or put clothing in the laundry basket, and put away any jewellery and accessories you remove (4 mins)
- Vaccum or sweep the bedroom (2 mins)
Family Room: 7 ½ minutes daily
- Before you go to bed, make sure the sofa is arranged, the throws folded and the cushions plumped (1 min)
- Put everything back in its place, or remove things that shouldn’t be on there. Straighten coffee-table books and magazines. Throw out old newspapers. Put away CDs and videos. This will make it easier to clean the following day (3 mins)
- Flick a duster over all surfaces (1 min)
- Vacuum or sweep up and spot clean hard floors as necessary (2½ mins)
