1. Invest In the Right Tools
Vileda produce a combined squeegee and microfibre pad called the ‘2 in 1 Microfibre Window Cleaner’ for washing and wiping. Try the Vileda ‘like leather’ Window Cloth for post-clean buffing.
2. Choose a Cloudy Day
A cool day is best for cleaning your windows, since heat means windows dry too quickly before you can get them gleaming.
3. Use Good Old Fashioned Vinegar
Make a great all-purpose window cleaner by combining ¼ cup white vinegar,
½ teaspoon liquid soap or detergent, and 2 cups of water in a spray bottle.
4. Get Scrubbing
Spray the window with the cleaning fluid and use elbow grease to remove deposits from windows.
5. Wipe Away the Water
For streak-free cleaning place the dry squeegee against a dry piece of glass that you’ve already wiped the water away from and drag downwards from there.
